Kadir Keskin
Kadir is responsible for business development and service for institutional clients across Canada for BMO Global Asset Management working with asset owners, asset managers and investment counsellors. Kadir joined the firm from RBC Direct Investing where he was responsible for trading on behalf of clients. Before joining RBC Direct Investing, he was an Associate Investment Advisor at a multi-family Office based in Oakville, responsible for business development, marketing, and strategy. Started his career at CIBC in retail branch servicing clients. Kadir has experience closing on 10 years in financial services industry. He is a graduate of Queen’s University Economics and holds various industry accreditations
Johan Kriek, CFA
Johan joined BMO Global Asset Management in 2024 and is based in Calgary. His hybrid role spans client service, business development and consultant relations across Western Canada. Specializing in bespoke solutions, Johan has significant experience in investment consulting, investment management and life insurance, having worked with leading firms in the UK, South Africa, and Canada. After immigrating to Canada in 2018, he spent over two years at Sun Life Capital Management, designing liability-hedging solutions for defined benefit pension plans and property and casualty insurers. Johan holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Cape Town, is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and is a CFA Charterholder.
Jason Au
Jason is accountable for supporting institutional relationship management activities for prospective and existing clients across Canada. Prior to joining BMO Global Asset Management, Jason has experience closing in on 10 years in the financial services and investment management industry, dedicated to building relationships with various prospective and existing clients in sales and service roles within BMO. Jason focused on various products and solutions offered by BMO Private Investment Counsel Inc. to continuously build wealth within Ultra High Net Worth households. He holds a bachelor of Commerce degree from Ryerson University, with a major in Finance.
Samantha Cleyn, CFA, MBA
Samantha joined BMO Global Asset Management (BMO GAM) in 2023 as Managing Director, Head of Institutional Sales and Service where she is responsible for building and implementing a channel strategy, leadership and direction for BMO GAM’s institutional business. Her previous experience includes leading institutional efforts nationally at T. Rowe Price Canada and prior to that, 11 years as an investment consultant with several firms including Mercer Canada and Pavilion Advisory Group. Samantha earned both an MBA and a Bachelor of Commerce, Finance from Concordia University and is a CFA charterholder.
Wilfredo Carvajal, CFA
Wilfredo is accountable for supporting new business development and institutional relationship management activities for clients and prospective clients across Canada. Drawing on over a decade of financial services experience, Wilfredo is focused on helping to build relationships with clients, prospective clients and investment consultants and promoting BMO Global Asset Management’s strategies and capabilities. Prior to joining BMO Global Asset Management, Wilfredo held various sales and service roles within BMO, focused on solutions offered by BMO Mutual Funds and BMO Investorline. He is a CFA charterholder, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Ryerson University, with a major in Finance.
Mark Webster
Mark is the BMO ETF team’s representative for Western Canada. With over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Mark has covered many diverse forms of financial risk. He began his career as a professional indemnity broker, becoming a vice president at Minet International Professional Indemnity Ltd. (now part of AON), conducting risk analysis for the Big 8 global accounting firms, as well as some of the top U.S. law firms. He is responsible for overseeing the proliferation of ETFs throughout Canada’s vast western region and providing support to portfolio managers from the Pacific (Duncan B.C.), to the Lakehead (Thunder Bay, Ontario). He has worked as a retail investment advisor with RBC DS; in the mutual fund industry with First Trust Portfolios; and has held several other positions in the pension industry. He brings with him a Master’s degree in Russian History from McGill University and several CSI accreditations.
Daniel Stanley
Daniel Stanley’s 18 years of experience in the capital markets industry includes positions in sales and investment management in Toronto and New York City. During his 7 years at CIBC World Markets he developed expertise in helping advisors use structured products and foreign exchange solutions. He managed global currency exposure at Bloomberg LP, and previously held a role as an investment advisor at RBC Dominion Securities, where he advised clients on security selection and portfolio management. Daniel’s consultative approach to working with investors is well suited to increasing the awareness of BMO ETFs among retail and institutional clients. Daniel is a CFA Charterholder and holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from McGill University.
Janine McLaughlin
Janine joined the Institutional Sales & Service team at BMO Asset Management Inc. in 2018. She is primarily responsible for servicing the firm’s institutional clients. Janine has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, specializing in senior Client Relationship Management, Investment Analytics, and Operations roles within consulting, pension fund, and investment management organizations. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
Vincent Au, CFA
Vincent is responsible for leading the business development, marketing and strategy efforts for BMO Global Asset Management’s institutional clients in Central Canada. He coordinates across the firm’s global platform to develop investment solutions for corporate and public pension funds, foundation and endowments, insurers and financial institutions. Vincent joined the firm in 2019 from the London Stock Exchange Group – FTSE Russell, where he was a Director and led the sales and relationship management for their strategic Canadian asset management clients. Before joining LSEG, Vincent was Vice President at BlackRock in their institutional business group and spent over 14 years at the firm in a variety of progressively senior roles across institutional sales and investment management. Vincent graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He is a CFA Charterholder and a registered Portfolio Manager.
Hugo Senécal, CFA, CAIA
Hugo Senecal joined BMO Global Asset Management in 2014 and is based in our Montreal office. He is responsible for the client relationship management of institutional relationships for Eastern Canada. Hugo has over 16 years of experience in investment sales and service. Prior to joining the firm, he spent more than five years at TD Asset Management Inc. where he held various sales and service roles covering a variety of solutions. Hugo has well developed relationships across the institutional investment community. He is bilingual and holds a Bachelor in Business Administration (Finance) from Universite du Quebec a Montreal; he is also a CFA Charterholder and also holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designations.
