BMO Global Asset Management
Jorge plays a key role in variety of projects within BMO GAM’s responsible investment team, with a focus on engagement research and support, ESG integration projects, sustainability-related due diligence, and stewardship reporting. Before joining the RI team at BMO GAM in April 2024, he completed two internships there during his MBA at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management. These experiences steered him towards a career in responsible investment, driven by a strong interest in the energy transition, financial products and sustainability research. Prior to joining BMO GAM, Jorge worked at Heineken Mexico, where he was involved in leading consumer and market research projects to develop data-driven insights through analytics and industry expertise. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
